Our commitment to making Future of Interior Spaces usable by as many people as possible.
Accessibility
Last updated: September 2026
Future of Interior Spaces is committed to making this website usable by as wide a range of people as possible, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA as our ongoing goal for the Site.
This is a new and evolving site. We have not yet carried out a formal, independent accessibility audit, and we expect to find — and fix — issues as we go. Accessibility is something we are actively working toward, not something we are claiming to have already fully achieved.
Beyond the website, Future of Interior Spaces is committed to making the FOIS Conference and FOIS Awards as accessible as reasonably possible to attendees, speakers, and honorees with disabilities. Where we can influence venue selection, we favour venues with step-free access and accessible facilities, and we're happy to discuss specific access requirements — such as seating, mobility, or communication support — ahead of an event. Please get in touch using the details below with any request, ideally as early as possible, so we can do our best to accommodate it.
This site uses a custom, circular cursor-follow effect as part of its visual design. We are aware that an effect like this may not suit everyone — for example, people using screen magnification, certain assistive technologies, or people who simply find it distracting. Standard browser cursor and keyboard focus behaviour continues to operate underneath this effect: it is a decorative visual layer, not a replacement for normal browser interaction. We have not formally tested this effect with assistive technology, and we are keeping it in mind as an area for ongoing review and possible adjustment.
We intend for the Site to be navigable using a keyboard and usable with screen readers. If you find a page, link, or piece of content that is not accessible to you in this way, please let us know using the details below — this kind of feedback directly helps us prioritise fixes.
If you experience any difficulty accessing content on this Site, please email hello@futureofinteriorspaces.com describing the issue, the page it occurred on, and, if possible, the browser and any assistive technology you were using. We will do our best to respond and to address the issue, and aim to acknowledge reports within a few business days.
This statement will be reviewed and updated as the Site develops and as we make accessibility improvements. We see this as a continuing commitment rather than a one-time fix.
This Accessibility Statement is issued by Maven School of Interior Decoration and Design, operator of Future of Interior Spaces.
