The spaces we create shape the lives we live. Yet the industries responsible for shaping those spaces continue to work apart. Interior designers rarely sit with technology innovators. Architects often work separately from manufacturers. Property developers and design educators do not always share the same conversations.
This fragmentation has a cost. The most important problems facing the built environment — how we live, work, learn, heal and connect — cross every one of these disciplines at once. Solving them requires a shared table, not six separate ones.
For more than fifteen years, Maven School of Interior Decoration and Design has educated the designers who shape these spaces. But Maven came to believe that education alone is no longer enough. The industry needed a permanent, independent platform — one built not around a classroom, but around the entire global community responsible for the future of interior spaces.
That platform is Future of Interior Spaces (FOIS). We believe every great space begins with a great conversation — and that the future will be experienced through the spaces we design together.
