1. Who we are

Future of Interior Spaces ("FOIS", "we", "us") is a global initiative by Maven School of Interior Decoration and Design. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how it is handled.

2. Information we collect

• Newsletter sign-up. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the email address you provide so that we can send you the newsletter and related updates. At the time of writing, the newsletter sign-up form on this site is a placeholder and is not yet connected to a live system, so no email addresses are currently being collected or stored through it. This section describes how things will work once that form is switched on, and will be kept accurate as that changes.
• Contact enquiries. If you email us via the contact link on this site, whatever information you choose to include — such as your name, email address and the content of your message — is sent directly to our email inbox. It is not entered into a separate database, CRM or marketing list.

We do not otherwise collect personal information via this website.

3. What we don't collect

This site does not currently use analytics or tracking technologies of any kind. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any similar tool, and we do not use cookies to track your activity (see our Cookie Policy for detail). We do not collect browsing behaviour, device fingerprints, or location data.

4. How we use your information

• To send you the FOIS newsletter, if and once you subscribe;
• To respond to enquiries sent via our contact link.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising purposes.

5. Legal basis for processing

Under UK data protection law, we rely on the following legal bases to process the limited personal information described above: consent, where you choose to subscribe to our newsletter (which you may withdraw at any time); and legitimate interests, where you contact us directly and we use your information to respond, since doing so is a reasonable and expected part of running this website.

6. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold, including keeping enquiry correspondence in access-controlled email accounts. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to use commercially reasonable safeguards appropriate to the very limited amount of personal information this Site currently handles.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected: subscriber email addresses for as long as you remain subscribed, and enquiry emails for as long as needed to respond to, and where relevant keep a reasonable record of, the enquiry.

8. Your rights

You can ask us, at any time, to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@futureofinteriorspaces.com and we will act on your request as soon as reasonably possible.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.

9. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the site and its features develop — for example, if we introduce a live newsletter platform or add new functionality that involves personal data. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "last updated" date.
